The Kansas Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (KABVI) will have its annual meeting on the weekend of October 26-28, 2012, at the Kansas State School for the Blind in Kansas City, KS. As explained in the Summer 2012 KABVI News,
You can have “hands-on” experience with new technology for the blind and visually impaired, both high and low; meet a truly enthusiastic ACB representative, Debbie Grubb; talk with teachers of the visually impaired, who will be finishing up their conference just before ours; and much, much more. And, if you want to stay in the dorm, rooms are a mere $10 per night!
There’s no conference information on it yet that I saw from a brief once-over, but their Web site is available at http://www.kabvi.com/about-kabvi.html if you’d like to keep an eye on it for more information.
