As I mentioned previously, the Kansas State School for the Blind’s 2012 Family Resource Weekend is coming up the weekend of November 16-17. It’s ridiculously affordable: $20 covers the registration fee for your entire family; childcare and activities, if needed, so your kiddos are entertained and engaged and you’re able to pay attention to the presentations; three meals, if you want them; accommodations in the school’s dormitory, if you need them. I can’t imagine a better deal.
We haven’t signed up yet, but don’t worry–we will be–so if you’ve been dying to see us from the front, this is your chance! If that isn’t incentive enough, I can personally attest that last year’s family weekend was absolutely amazing. We learned a lot, and we’re looking forward to heading back to learn more this year.
Here’s the tentative schedule for this year’s event:

We hope to see you in November!
