An adaptable game: The Sneaky Snacky Squirrel

The Sneaky Snacky Squirrel is a fun and easy game for two to four players. The bottom of the box is the game board; it’s designed to look like a colorful oak tree with the 3D acorn playing pieces scattered on top of it. Each player has a stump with five holes in it, one for each color of acorn. The goal is to get one of each color of acorn before anyone else. Players spin a spinner that allows them to pick an acorn of a given color, sneak another player’s acorn, or potentially lose one or more of their own acorns. The best part? You use a pair of tweezers, for lack of a better term, that’s moulded to look like a squirrel to pick up your acorns.

Peanut and Sprout are both big fans of this game. It’s hard for Peanut to see the colors on the acorns, but it’s workable. If you wanted to texture the acorns in different ways, you could do so, or you can play the game as a counting game instead. The fun parts are all tactile, and the best parts are using the squirrel to pick up acorns and stealing the acorns from the other players. With a few modifications, this game can be great for the whole family.
